Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, residence/unit, and role within the community.
  • Contact information for alerts: mobile phone number (if you opt in to receive SMS alerts).
  • Consent records: opt-in and opt-out timestamps for emergency SMS alerts.
  • Message delivery metadata: message IDs, delivery status (queued/sent/delivered/failed/undelivered), and error codes.
  • Usage data: limited technical details for security, troubleshooting, and audit logging.

How We Use Information

  • To operate the community platform and provide services to residents.
  • To send emergency and safety-related SMS alerts to residents who have explicitly opted in.
  • To maintain delivery and consent logs for compliance, audit, and troubleshooting.
  • To improve reliability and security of our systems.

Lawful Basis and Consent

We send emergency SMS alerts only to residents who provide express consent via the application. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message or by updating your preferences in the application.

Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell personal information. We share limited information with service providers solely to deliver services, such as our SMS provider (Twilio) for sending and receiving text messages, and our email provider for email alerts. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only as instructed.

Data Retention

We retain opt-in/opt-out records and delivery logs for as long as necessary to maintain compliance and support operational needs. If you leave the community or request deletion, we will remove or de-identify personal data consistent with our retention practices and legal obligations.

Your Choices

  • SMS Alerts: Reply STOP to any message to opt out; reply START to resume.
  • Account Changes: Update your phone number and preferences via the application.

Security

We implement administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we process. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we strive to protect your information.

Children

Our services are intended for adult residents and authorized users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
